Where do we find wisdom and knowledge?
We begin, of course, with the Word of God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We are blessed to have a number of distinguished Christian thinkers and writers who can help us shape, or reshape, your minds to the way the Lord desires for our schools.
In this section of the site we will post articles that represent the best thinking available for leaders of Christian schools. Many of these articles may come from ACS principals or other mentors and many will be brought from others who have contributions to make our schools premier institutions of redemptive education.
They will be philosophical to give you the big picture; they will be strategic to help you communicate to the rest of the leadership team; and they will be practical and tactical so that you can get down to implementation.
We caution you not to see the ACS site as a resource bank to “cut and paste” ideas or techniques into your own school context. There is no substitute for the hard work required to change culture. As such, we do not offer these articles as a manuscript of forms, but as examples of how/what other schools have done to address their challenges successfully.
