Christian schools with fewer than one hundred students will gather in Dallas next week to be informed and inspired on their path to becoming stronger schools. From Surviving to Thriving is the name of the special roundtable at the conference of the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) on June 18 at the Dallas Intercontinental Hotel. This invitation-only event is hosted by Advance Christian Schools to bring together small classical Christian schools to discuss issues and challenges unique to schools of their size. “We are thrilled to be able to focus on this important segment of the association membership”, says Harold Naylor, president of Advance Christian Schools. The roundtable will feature school leaders Courtney Palumbo (Regents School of Charlottesville, and Ryan Boomershine of Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy (Nashville). These two will share the stories of how God rebuilt their struggling schools and the lessons they learned along the way. Critical Success Factors for Marketing, Development and Governance will be presented by the three principals of Advance Christian Schools. In addition to the thirteen participating schools, the guests will be welcomed and encouraged by David Goodwin, the new President of ACCS.
